LIFE EXPRESS

Life Express are a dj duo from Stockholm consisting of Stefan Svensson and Karl Prim.
Stefan Svensson's diverse roots stemmed from a love of early psychadelic trance sounds, into the early days of Stockholms outdoor scene and finally a natural evoloution into more twisted sounds and heavy basslines, inspired by the electro genre. After that he later realized that psy-trance didn’t entice him anymore at all and quickly found his passion for producing house music and mixing records. He was litterally hooked.

Karl Prim was born in Stockholm and has been influenced by music at a very young age because of his father who was guitarist and songwriter in a swedish blues band. At the early age of 10, Karl started to spin hard dance, trance and hiphop records at school discos and and youth clubs.

After experimenting with instruments such as guitar in a band, Karl found his true calling with the discovery of electronic music and he hasn’t looked back since. He started to produce and experiment with different sounds and musical styles such as trance and hiphop. At this point he had already produced soundtracks for two indie-movies.

Stefan & Karl started to share their own productions with each other and exchange ideas and feedback. A couple of months later they joined forces and started their first music projects as a duo under the name Life Express. Nowadays, they are producing music with unique sounds and moods oscillating around genres such as house, electro-house, progressive and tech-house.
